Public Plans
Provincial drug programs account for nearly 50% of prescription drug purchases in
Canada.
Our aggregated provincial data cover British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan,
Manitoba, Ontario, Québec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. Together
they include over 250 million prescriptions per year. Access to this summary level data
is available electronically through PharmaStat®.
Claims level data for tracking patients is available for analysis from three
provincial plans (Ontario, Alberta, and Québec) and one federal plan (First Nations and Inuit).
