Brien Benoit, PMPRB Chairperson and Barbara Ouellet, PMPRB Executive Director appeared in front of the Standing Committee on Health on March 28, 2007. The opening remarks made by Dr. Benoit are now posted and available here. Mr. Benoit acknowledges that in the past 18 months 8 new hearings have been called and there are 33 ongoing investigations as part of the regulatory process. He also mentions the reporting role which include the Analytical Report on Pharmaceutical Trends and supporting the National Pharmaceuticals Strategy.
