PMPRB is temporarily suspending mandatory reporting of benefits until June 2009

The Board released a Communiqué "temporarily suspending patentees' mandatory reporting of benefits" for the data filing period from January 1 to June 30, 2009 " . This policy was announced in a previous Communiqué issued in August 2008. This suspension follows the agreement by all parties to seek an expedited hearing of the two applications for Judicial Review of the August Communiqué. No dates have been announced.

Furthermore, no update on the schedule for proceeding with the issuance of new Guidelines was provided.
