PMPRB Decision Regarding Dovobet

The PMPRB decision on the amount owing in the Dovobet case has been released today and is summarized below:

A) The company must repay, by cheque, $3.7 million for the period from first sale to Dec 2005.

B) The distribution of free product is to be included in the calculation of ATP.

C) The maximum non-excessive for Jan-June 2002 was $1.2132 per gram but dropped in the July to December 2002 period to $1.1926 based on the highest international price of Dovobet.

This decision comes nearly 3 years following the Notice of Hearing, issued in November 2004.
