- Developing submissions to and supporting negotiations with the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board.
- Conducting analysis of available data and policies in order to provide advice to clients regarding price increases for existing drugs or compliance of current pricing with domestic and international price comparison rules
- Conducting policy analysis to assess the impact of new policies on the pricing of pharmaceuticals
- Making presentations to industry and government audiences
- Supporting clients to meet their pricing objectives
The successful candidate will display initiative, have strong analytical capabilities, and preferably have a mix of science and business education or experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with both external and internal clients, integrate effectively in a team setting, and be able to work independently on the responsibilities assigned.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
- Graduate degree with preferably a background education in science and business OR a relevant combination of education and experience
- At least three years experience in a business environment. Experience in a regulated industry an asset.
