Changes to Benefit Plans effective January 1, 2002

Highlights
Pharmcare beneficiary cost sharing changes: Seniors with premium assistance, will pay up to $10 per prescription to an annual maximum of $200. The deductible will now include both drug costs and dispensing fees. All other seniors will pay $25 for each prescription to a maximum of $275 per year. As well Seniors with premium assistance will pay prescription drug costs to a maximum of $800 per year. Individuals under 65 and their families will pay all prescription drug costs to maximum of $1,000 per year, after which they pay 30% of total prescription costs to a ceiling of $2,000 per year.
